Who We Are

The mission of Madi’s House

Madi’s House offers struggling young adults a place to fill time, find friends, and feel hope. Here you can gather in an accepting community and participate in meaningful activities as you work on recovery after programmatic care for mental illness or addiction. We are a free, non-residential community center. As a growing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we’re implementing programs and building facilities that meet this urgent need in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Our mission: We are a vibrant place of engagement. Madi’s House offers peaceful support and alternative activities to young adults battling addiction, mental illness and hopelessness.

What we do

Designed to fill a need. Built to offer hope.

The daily grind of managing life with mental health issues and/ or the disease of addiction can get heavy. Madi knew that. She was a young adult in Cincinnati, Ohio who struggled with mental health issues. One of her greatest frustrations was the lack of a safe, comfortable space to gather with others and just hang out. After her suicide the Raleigh family stepped in to create Madi’s House, a homey place to relax where there’s snacks, a couch and usually laughter.

For the days when you just need a place to chillax and people to chill with, there’s Madi’s House where you will find:

  • A fun place to chill
  • A compassionate community
  • A safe space to be yourself
  • A daytime destination offering activities that build body, mind, and spirit
  • A location for twelve-step groups to meet

Madi’s House is FREE for all young adults struggling with mental health issues who are clean/sober. We are not a paid membership organization, a residential or treatment center or a clinical setting.

Stop by soon. We can’t wait to meet you!
